The Lewiston Council on the Arts welcomed the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra to Academy Park’s Alphonso I. DiMino Memorial Band Shell last Friday for a free community concert. On a beautiful summer night, the grounds were filled with fans watching a performance under the baton of conductor Grant O’Brien and featuring guest soprano Hannah Verduzco (who was taught by LCA Executive Director Maria Fortuna Dean).
A yearly event, the concert was sponsored by Anthony DiMino, proprietor of DiMino’s Lewiston Tops.
