Community celebration featuring live music and food trucks at Schoellkopf Park
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center invites the community to “Party in the Park,” a free public event at Schoellkopf Park on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Organizers said, “The event will celebrate the revitalization of the park, made possible by a Community Development Grant from the City of Niagara Falls. Sponsored by Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, ‘Party in the Park’ will feature live music, food trucks, and an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the newly enhanced Schoellkopf Park.”
The event runs from 4-7 p.m. at 650-660 Portage Road, Niagara Falls. Highlights include:
•Live entertainment with the band White Chocolate. A press release noted, “Known for their energy-packed dance and party music, White Chocolate has been a part of the Buffalo music community for over 10 years. They bring vibrant tunes from the Temptations to Nelly, making appearances at weddings, parties, clubs and, now, this community event.”
•Onsite food trucks: A variety of local food trucks will offer different options for attendees.
