Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum Festival promises family fun

The Sanborn Area Historical Society is holding its 18th Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum Festival from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28, at 2660 Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31), Sanborn. Admissions is free.

As in the past, the tractor/equipment show is a major part of the festival. Tractor parades are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, with a second parade at 1 p.m. Sunday. Awards will be presented, plus each exhibitor will be provided a small plaque that can be displayed on their equipment to show attendance.

The Farm Museum will be open, and there will be plenty of food, music and fun for the whole family. Be sure to check out the basket auction, flea and craft vendors, and museum exhibits.

A car cruise is slated for each day. On Saturday, there will be a pancake breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Then on Sunday, French toast will be available from 8-11 a.m.
