Elderwood Residences at Wheatfield is hosting “Brunch and Baskets” to benefit the Home Assistance Referral Team. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Elderwood Residences at Wheatfield, 100 Crestwood Court, and prepared by Chef Nadi.
A basket auction will also be available with beautiful gift items.
“As the administrator of Elderwood Residences at Wheatfield, and a member of the board of directors of HART, I understand fully the importance of making sure that seniors and others in need of home care have the option of HART services,” Tammy Ooft said. “We are happy to partner with HART and look forward to continued collaborations that serve those in need.”
Dawn Hilton, project coordinator for HART, said, “Tammy is always there when we are looking for a space to hold a presentation or a luncheon, an extra hand or two to collect tickets at a fundraiser, or to let people know what HART is about. “We appreciate all that she does and are so excited to hold our first ‘Brunch and Baskets.’ ”
Tickets for the brunch are $20. Basket auction tickets can be purchased at the event.
