A mobile food pantry, organized by the Salvation Army of the Tonawandas, is scheduled to be held at the Grand Island Town Hall parking lot on April 17. This is a drive-thru pantry. Food will be distributed, starting at 10 a.m., until it’s gone.
To get food, you need to bring your ID and proof of address. Foods to be distributed include meat, fresh produce and dairy. For more information, call 716-469-2269 and leave a message or send an email to Lt. Adam Mack at adam.mack@use.salvationarmy.org. These pantries will be held every third Thursday of the month.
