Lewiston Community Lions to host 4th annual Earth Day clean-up & lunch

The Lewiston Community Lions are excited to host our fourth annual Village Clean-Up Day – and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Participants will meet Saturday, April 26, at the Marilyn Toohey Park pavilion (behind the Red Brick Municipal Building), at 145 N. Fourth St., Lewiston.

This beloved, communitywide event continues to grow each year. Thanks to the dedication and spirit of our incredible volunteers, we collected dozens of bags of trash throughout the village and Artpark last year. This year, we're aiming even higher, with over 100 volunteers from local organizations and the community expected to participate. All are welcome – bring your friends, family, and neighbors!

The event schedule is:

  • 8 a.m. – Volunteer sign-in plus coffee, hot chocolate and doughnuts
  • 9 a.m. – Volunteer instructions, clean-up routes, and group photo
  • 9:30 a.m. – Let’s clean up our village!
  • 11 a.m. until noon – Volunteer appreciation hot dog lunch
