Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Press Release
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced its 20th annual black-tie gala, The Premier 2025, raised more than $118,690 to benefit cardiac services at Memorial.
Held at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and themed “A Night in the Emerald City,” this year’s Premier celebrated the "brains, hearts, and courage" of the Niagara community while commemorating Memorial’s emerald anniversary. The event attracted over 700 attendees, including community leaders, health care champions, and supporters from across Western New York.
Funds raised will directly support the ongoing growth and innovation of NFMMC’s cardiac services, helping to deliver life-saving care and advanced treatments for heart health in the Niagara Region.
The annual event also honored individuals who have made a lasting impact in the Niagara community, including Bob DiFrancesco, a career educator, who was posthumously awarded the Nancy Gara Spirit Award; and Dr. Sachin Wadhawan, chief of cardiology, who received the Physicians Award.
Emceed by Maryalice Demler of WGRZ-TV and the Rev. Craig Pridgen of True Bethel Baptist Church, and featuring a high-energy performance by the nationally renowned Emerald City Band, the Premier 2025 was a true celebration of excellence in health care and community spirit.
