“Waving From A Sea” is the latest offering from the Michigan Rattlers, reflecting their work with stellar producer Dominic John Davis (Jack White, Willie Nelson, Greensky Bluegrass). The new album serves up a fresh blend of folk rock, Americana and alt-country.
Check out “Pure Resistance” and “Lilacs Bloom” “Live from The Treehouse in Nashville,” as well as the official video for fan-favorite “Heaven.”
Michigan Rattlers are Graham Young (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Reed (vocals/upright bass), Christian Wilder (vocals/piano) and Tony Audia (drums). They began writing music and performing together in their Northern Michigan high school – regularly playing every bar, cafe and stage in town, developing a musical chemistry informed by the likes of AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Seger.
Their self-titled EP, “Michigan Rattlers,” attracted glowing reviews from No Depression, Bluegrass Situation, Relix, Glide and Grammy.com. Rolling Stone named the band one of its “Ten New Artists You Need To Know,” and in 2018, following a massive summer tour that included stops at Bonnaroo, Firefly and Electric Forest, the band released its highly anticipated debut full-length album, “Evergreen.” It netted critical acclaim, with 2021’s “That Kind of Life” picking up right where Evergreen left off.
