Train station hosting location for 8th consecutive year
Submitted by the City of Niagara Falls
Another year of “Food Truck Thursdays” is in sight.
Kicking off June 26, the series which has seen seven successful years, will operate for 10 consecutive weeks, concluding Aug. 28. The Niagara Falls Train Station, located at 825 Depot Ave. West, will offer free parking for this free event. Expect two food vendors and an entertainer every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine.
Mayor Robert Restaino has put a weekly focus on community engagement and the importance of spending time outside this year. He said, “This event is a means of getting out during the day, staying connected with people around you, and meeting them for a quick lunch.”
Attendees can expect to see food vendors from years past such as Dirty Bird Chicken & Waffles, Mother Cluckers, Fat Bob’s BBQ, and Steaksters. New this year will be The Sangwich Mother, The Rolling Cannoli, Parkers Pit BBQ, Cater2U Kitchen and the Cheesy Chick.
The weekly schedule will be released Monday, June 2, and can be found on the city’s website (niagarafallsusa.org) and Facebook page.
