The Niagara Pioneer International Soccer Tournament welcomed over 160 teams and more than 5,000 people to Fort Niagara State Park on July 12-13 for the 40th anniversary tournament. With thunder and lightning delays added to the 90-degree-plus heat, the 16u Strikers and 17u Revolution both walked away with championships on Sunday afternoon.
Tryouts for the 2026 travel season for birth years 2007-18 are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13. More information can be found at www.niagarapioneer.com.
