Fishel Philip Goldig, a holocaust survivor, visited the River Region this week, speaking at events held at Niagara University and the Lewiston Public Library.
As Lewiston Council on the Arts Outreach Coordinator Michelle Kratts wrote in a recent article, “Fishel has endured unimaginable hardship and has lived to remind future generations that we must be vigilant in fighting hate, antisemitism and intolerance.”
He visited Lewiston to share his story.
At NU, Fishel was joined by performers Hanna Moreno, soprano; Jacob Eichhorn, clarinet; Aram Feldman, violin; and Elliot Sneider, piano. The event was sponsored by the Lewiston Council on the Arts.
