Neighbors Foundation Press Release & Photo
The Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island is pleased to announce that Walgreens has joined the monthlong “Fill the Barrel” food drive this September.
Islanders can drop off nonperishable food items at nine convenient collection sites: both Dollar Generals, Mallwitz’s Island Lanes, Walgreens, Grand Island Memorial Library, Island Ship Center, Trilogy (The MOG), Thompson’s Farm Market, and Pickleball Island.
As more families turn to us for support, community partnerships like this are essential. Together, we can ensure no Islander goes without food.
Stop by Walgreens – or any of the participating locations – and help fill the barrels this September. Every donation makes a lasting impact.
