Monday, Sept. 22

•Dickersonville/Swann roads, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Caller reported a male walking in and out of the roadway. Officers responded, one male taken into custody.

•900 block of Oneida Street, assist public – Caller reported receiving a fake census document; patrol requested. Patrol reported the correspondence regarding an American Community Survey was legitimate and the phone number provided as verified and belonging to the U.S. Census Bureau.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; one driver cited with uniform traffic ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report taken. Three warnings issued.

Tuesday, Sept. 23

•Lewiston Road/Irving Drive, suspicious activity – Caller reported a male walking around shirtless. Subject located by patrol and advised; all secure.

•1600 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious activity – 911 caller said a teen was at the door with a husky. Patrol said the teen found the dog and was attempting to find its home.

•5400 block of Military Road, police services/domestic disturbance – 911 calls. Officers responded; reports taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; five drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Five warnings issued.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

•500 block of Irving Drive, assist public – 911 caller wanted to speak with patrol regarding a neighbor dispute over a fence. Officers responded.

•5300 block of Military Road, hospital, lost/found property – Caller reported a patient came in with drugs. Items turned over to patrol for destruction.

•1000 block of Upper Mountain Road, harassment – Caller reported receiving harassing texts over the phone and via social media. Patrol reported negative results on its response and will recontact caller.

•Hillside/Orchard drives, K-9 incident, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Caller said a male was running between houses and approaching vehicles. Officers responded; male taken into custody. Report taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; eight drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Three warnings issued.

Thursday, Sept. 25

•5900 block of Kline Road, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported a suspicious male was knocking on doors in the neighborhood. Driver of vehicle told officers that he had befriended a female online and was provided an address to meet her. Patrol advised male the contact was likely a scam and the subject did not exist. Driver agreed to refrain from knocking on any more doors.

•100 block of S. Water Street, damage to property – Caller reported finding graffiti at a restaurant business. Patrol responded.

•100 block of N. Fourth Street, assist – Caller stated three juveniles were riding e-bikes on the basketball court, doing wheelies and damaging pavement. Patrol responded.

•N. Fifth/Mohawk streets, vehicle/traffic stop – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped a juvenile riding a gas mini bike. Patrol said the vehicle was not legal for the roadway, subject advised.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. One warning issued.

Friday, Sept. 26

•2800 block of Maple Street, suspicious activity – Caller reported an unknown female was parked on lawn. Area checked by patrol with negative results.

•400 block of Center Street, damage to property – Caller reported graffiti damage to a building; patrol responded.

•5900 block of Garlow Road, assist public – 911 caller reported a male across the street was following the caller with cameras; caller said the subject was somehow listening to him from inside the house. Officers responded.

•Morgan Drive/Greenfield Road, check welfare – 911 caller reported an elderly male as very lost and actively driving in area. Vehicle located by patrols. Driver in custody for driving while intoxicated. Report taken.

•900 block of Hillside Drive, harassment – 911 caller said an unknown party was attempting to get money from caller by threatening to release pictures. Patrol responded. Report taken.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, check welfare – Caller said a juvenile was possibly punched by another individual; subject crying. Patrol attempted to make contact, with negative results.

•5700 block of Walmore Road, criminal investigation – Officer initiated. Subject taken into custody for violation of a court order. Report taken.

•100 block of S. Water Street, trespass – Caller said three fishermen had jumped a fence after being asked to leave. Subjects left area on patrol’s request.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited with two uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Seven warnings and 12 village parking tickets issued by patrols.

Saturday Sept. 28

•4200 block of Dickersonville Road, trespass – 911 caller reported two males behind the barn with long guns. Subjects hunting, but homeowner unfamiliar with them. Patrol responded.

•5400 block of Elm Drive, harassment – Caller reported a neighbor gives him obscene gestures when leaving the house, ongoing issue. Caller wanted complaint documented, but no action taken. Caller advised to install fence to improve privacy.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious activity – Caller reported two males making inappropriate comments, possibly of a sexual nature, to employees. Males also attempted to coerce the caller into a van. Subjects no longer on location.

•4600 block of Creek Road, domestic disturbance – 911 caller said a family member assaulted and checked him. Patrol responded.

•400 block of Burt Drive, animal complaint – Patrol located a sick raccoon; animal dispatched.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, check welfare – Caller reported hearing a female screaming outside. Patrols found all quiet. Area checked with negative results.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited with uniform traffic ticket issued for town court. Two warnings issued.
