The Kenan Quilters Guild will present the biennial Kenan Quilt Show, Nov. 7-9 at the Kenan Center Arena, for a weekend celebrating handcrafted quilts and the artistry behind them.

One of Western New York’s largest quilt shows, the event draws thousands of visitors from across the region. Guests will enjoy a vibrant display of hundreds of quilts, ranging from traditional patterns to modern designs, all lovingly created by local quilters.

Highlights of the weekend include raffles, demonstrations, and the much-anticipated bed turning of antique quilts. Attendees can also enter the quilt and basket raffle, shop from unique vendors, and take a chance at winning the stunning 2025 Opportunity Quilt. Lunch will be available on-site to keep visitors fueled as they explore the show.

The quilt show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Kenan Center Arena, 433 Locust St., Lockport. Admission is $6 (cash only). Ample parking is available on-site.

“This show is such a labor of love for our guild,” said Jan Jordan, president of the Kenan Quilters Guild. “Every quilt tells a story, and we are thrilled to share that artistry and passion with our community. It’s inspiring to see visitors connect with the work and walk away with a greater appreciation for the craft.”

“The Kenan Quilters Guild has been an incredible partner to the Kenan Center,” added Bill Patti, executive director of the Kenan Center. “Their dedication not only enriches our cultural programming but also brings people together in a truly meaningful way. The quilt show has become a signature event that reflects the creativity, patience, and skill of Western New York’s quilting community.”

The Kenan Quilt Show is more than an exhibition – it’s a celebration of artistry, patience and tradition. Attracting visitors from across the region, it shines a spotlight on Lockport as a hub for the arts. With the event only taking place every two years, organizers encourage guests not to miss this opportunity; the next show won’t be until 2027.
