Information Submitted by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office
At approximately 11:55 p.m. on Nov. 29, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office communications center received a call of a domestic disturbance at 368 Lockport St., Youngstown. Upon arrival, responding officers encountered an individual who barricaded himself in the residence and refused to comply with officers. The individual was subsequently taken into custody by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office emergency response team.
At the conclusion of the criminal investigation, the individual in the residence was identified as Maxwell V. Bridenbaker. Bridenbaker has been charged with one count of menacing in the second degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Bridenbaker was transported to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Correctional Facility to be held for arraignment in Niagara County CAP Court.
He is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
