The Town of Grand Island forum with Erie County central dispatch and the Grand Island Fire Co. has been postponed. It had been scheduled for 6 p.m. today, Dec. 16, at the Golden Age Center.
Council member Dan Kilmer said, “The fire company opted not to attend. And rather than having only Erie County answering questions, I have decided to try again in the spring to have an information meeting on the fire dispatch issue.”
Kilmer said the meeting, when rescheduled, would hopefully involve both agencies and their subject-matter experts.
