Lewiston Community Lions Club Press Release & Photo
The Lewiston Community Lions Club is excited to announce the hosting of its fifth annual village cleanup day – and we’d love for you to join us!
“The cleanup and community picnic are a great opportunity to come together with your neighbors to help beautify our village and surrounding areas,” said event chairman Lion Rob Nichols.
Volunteers will meet Saturday, April 25, at the Marilyn Toohey Park pavilion (behind the Red Brick Municipal Building), 145 N. Fourth St.
This marks the fifth year our club has proudly sponsored this communitywide event. Thanks to the dedication and energy of our volunteers, we collected dozens of bags of trash throughout the village and Artpark last year.
This year, we’re aiming even higher, with more than 100 volunteers from local organizations and the community expected to participate. Everyone is welcome – bring your friends, family and neighbors!
