A Democratic caucus to nominate candidates for one, four-year term as mayor and for two, four-year terms as Lewiston village trustee for the Village of Lewiston, will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Red Brick Municipal Building (gymnasium), located at 145 N. Fourth St.
The village elections will take place Tuesday, June 16.
Only registered Democrats who reside in the Village of Lewiston are eligible to nominate and vote for candidates at the caucus.
Candidates selected must reside in the Village of Lewiston. Those wishing to nominate or vote at the caucus are asked to bring photo identification.
Niagara County Democratic Chair Anita Mullane has appointed Fran (Francis) Flanagan, a resident of the Village of Lewiston, chair of the caucus.
