Monday, May 11

•5900 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, domestic disturbance – 911 caller reported a mother-son domestic. Officers responded.

•200 block of N. Fifth Street, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported a male in white pickup truck going through recyclables in the area – an ongoing issue. Caller advised to get subject’s license plate and notify patrol the next time it occurs.

•900 block of Center Street, shoplifting – Officer initiated. Caller reported on a recent shoplifting. Female placed items in purse and walked out of business. Patrol unable to locate.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with four uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. One warning issued.

Tuesday, May 12

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, death – 911 call report. Patrols responded. Confirmation only.

•4800 block of Kline Road, suspicious activity – Anonymous caller reported a group of kids fighting in a parking lot. Officers responded.

•4500 block of Porter Center Road, domestic disturbance – 911 caller reported male was throwing and slamming things. Officers responded. Report taken.

•1400 block of Ridge Road, harassment – Caller reported harassment by a former friend. Report filed per caller’s request for fear of losing her job. Contact attempted of other party by patrol with negative results.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Three drivers cited with four UTTs issued for town court. Two warnings issued.

Wednesday, May 13

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, domestic disturbance – Text to 911 stated partner was being volatile and throwing things, with children on location. Officers responded.

•300 block of N. Ninth Street, harassment – Caller reported being harassed over a mandated reporting incident (not specified). LPD said a follow-up report was expected from an unnamed school listed in complaint, with possible charges following consultation with attorney.

•4800 block of Creek Road, custody problem – Caller reported children were not brought to the address for an expected custody exchange. Patrol advised complainant to contact attorney. Report taken for court purposes.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Three drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Six warnings issued.

Thursday, May 14

•100 block of Mohawk Street, suspicious activity – Caller reported two unknown subjects had been walking around the property, then possibly took off running. Officers searched area with negative results. Caller advised to notify property landlord of incident.

•900 block of Center Street, shoplifting – Per dispatch activity, caller reported a theft of items two days earlier. Patrol said a female placed seven energy drinks and a box of dried beef sticks in her cart, turned around, left the aisle, and then placed said items in her purse. Female then paid for a separate item when cashing out but not the aforementioned. Patrol waiting on video footage and credit card information on suspect from store manager. Investigation pending.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, shoplifting – Caller alleged three students stole tobacco products earlier in the day. Patrols responded.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Three drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Seven warnings issued.

Friday, May 15

•400 block of N. Fourth Street, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped for a vehicle in the lot after hours. Registered owner just left work and was charging vehicle. RO advised party of the park hours.

•500 block of Irving Drive, assist public – 911 caller reported two boxes of hardwood flooring was stolen from the basement. Officers found no signs of forced entry or anything suspicious. Patrols said the caller was not making any sense and declined any further assistance.

•5300 block of Military Road, hospital, check welfare – 911 caller reported a patient left with no shirt and shoes. Subject told patrol he no longer wanted medical attention and wished to go home. Subject returned for belongings and was confirmed by staff to leave. Family member picked male up.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Eight drivers cited with four UTTs issued for town court. Eight warnings issued.

Saturday, May 16

•Calkins Road, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported eight juveniles on dirtbikes wearing hoodies were congregating in area during the middle of the night. Caller did not have video footage. Party provided special number to recontact LPD if such activity occurs again.

•100 block of N. First Street, traffic complaint – Caller reported hotel guests parking on a residential street. Patrol responded.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Six drivers cited with 10 UTTs issued for town court. Ten warnings issued.

Sunday, May 17

•100 block of N. Fourth Street, domestic disturbance – 911 female caller who refused to give her name reported a male keeps following her and had been asked to leave her alone. Officers spoke with both parties who reported nothing physical occurred. Patrol collected the male’s belongings and gave him a courtesy ride home.

•400 block of Center Street, check welfare – Caller reported a black vehicle parked in front of bar/restaurant, one turn signal flashing and party slumped over the wheel. Patrol located a male who said he was waiting for a ride and had not driven. Ride driver arrived while patrol was on scene and took male home.

•Saunders Settlement/Walmore roads, traffic complaint – 911 caller reported the driver of a black Toyota Rav-4 moving aggressively. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•4600 block of Lower River Road, traffic complaint – Officer initiated. Speed enforcement in area after receiving complaints.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with four UTTs issued for town court. Eight warnings issued.
