The Niagara Falls Country Club proudly announces the celebration of its 125th anniversary, marking more than a century of rich history, exceptional golf, and a strong commitment to community.
Founded in 1901, the Country Club has long been recognized as one of Western New York’s premier private clubs. Over the past 125 years, it has evolved into a cherished destination for members and guests alike, offering a championship golf course, outstanding dining, and a welcoming social environment.
“This milestone is a testament to the generations of members, staff and leadership who have shaped the club into what it is today,” said Robert Travis, club president. “We are proud of our heritage and excited to celebrate the legacy and future of Niagara Falls Country Club.”
To commemorate this historic anniversary, the Country Club will host a series of special events May 29-31, including:
•Friday night welcoming cocktail party
•Commemorative “Old Hickory Stick” golf and “Wooden Racquets” tennis tournaments
•Saturday night 125th anniversary gala celebration with fireworks
•Sunday Afternoon Family Picnic and Children’s Events
•Historical exhibits highlighting the club’s legacy
•Porter Cup outreach initiatives
The weekend-long anniversary celebration will honor the club’s longstanding traditions while embracing its vision for continued growth and excellence. Members and the broader community will have opportunities to reflect on the club’s storied past and look ahead to its bright future.
