Summer isn't over yet: Free family fun continues on Old Falls Street USA

There's still time to make the most of summer on Old Falls Street USA.

Local families are invited to enjoy a lineup of free concerts, outdoor movies and seasonal festivals that continue through September in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls.

Located between Niagara Falls State Park and the Niagara Falls Convention Center, Old Falls Street USA remains the place to gather with friends and family for affordable summer fun.

Admission to all events is free, with only rides, food, beverages and select activities available for purchase. There's something happening nearly every weekend, including:

•Friday night concert series – Fridays through Aug. 28, featuring live music from regional and national acts.

•Empire State Ride welcome celebration – Saturday, Aug. 1, welcoming cyclists raising funds for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

•Labor Day celebration – Sept. 4-7, featuring live entertainment, food vendors and family activities.

•17th annual Blues Festival – Saturday, Sept. 19, with live blues performances and a new bourbon tasting experience.

•Oktoberfest – Saturday, Sept. 26, celebrating German culture with music, food and festivities.

"Whether you're looking for a free concert, a family outing or a fun way to spend a weekend downtown, Old Falls Street offers something for everyone before the season comes to a close."
