Niagara County District Attorney's Office announces probation in Lewiston child welfare case

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that, yesterday evening in the Town of Lewiston Court, the Hon. Hugh Gee sentenced Gary Sullo, age 58, to three years probation for his conviction of two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
HANCI: 'Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park'

The Health Association of Niagara County will host the annual "Niagara County Senior Walk in the Park, Celebrating Older Americans." There is no charge to attend for Niagara County residents. This event will include a health fair, refreshments, entertainment by Okie Rich, health screenings, warm-up activities, choice of three walks in the park, and raffles. The first 400 people will receive a free bag, T-shirt and lunch.
Predatory sexual assault conviction in Niagara County

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict against Gregory M. Pearson, age 34, of Niagara Falls, this afternoon after deliberating for less than two hours. Pearson was convicted of seven counts of predatory sexual assault against a child committed in Niagara Falls in the years 2017 through 2021.
4 Niagara County parks officially open Friday; Oppenheim delayed a week

The Niagara County Department of Public Works said four of the county's parks - Burmaster at Bond Lake, West Canal Marina, Krull and Royalton Ravine - will officially open for the season this Friday, May 24. The parks are open from dawn until dusk. Oppenheim Park, which has undergone significant infrastructure work, will open Saturday, June 1.

The Niagara Career and Technical Education students are enrolled in Michelle LeFauve's web development and game design program at the Orleans/Niagara BOCES site.
