Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Brian Wallace, age 37, of Niagara Falls, entered a guilty plea to murder in the second degree in county court on June 13. Wallace admitted to murdering 38-year-old Lauren Hayes in a motel room in Niagara Falls on Feb. 21, 2023.

The Lewiston Garden Club event will include approximately 70 vendors selling flowers, plants, and handcrafted garden essentials, along with a garden walk, speakers, and a container garden contest.
