The Buffalo Sabres announced plans for opening weekend, which will take place during the team's first three home games of the 2018-19 season. The three games will feature a wide variety of activities, giveaways and special events for the whole family. Tickets are still available for all three Sabres games during opening weekend.

Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International announced it has cleared its new syndicated daytime talk show hosted by Tamron Hall on the ABC Owned Television Stations Group for fall 2019. Last month, the company announced it is working with Hall to create and develop a daytime talk show for the syndication marketplace that will be hosted by the award-winning TV anchor and journalist.

The television home of the Golden Globe Awards for the past 23 years, NBC has signed a new eight-year deal with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and dick clark productions that begins with the upcoming telecast from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The three-hour telecast will air live on NBC coast to coast at 8 p.m. ET Jan. 6, 2019. Nominations will be announced on Dec. 6.
