For the 18th season of "Hell's Kitchen," premiering Friday, Sept. 28 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on FOX, Gordon Ramsay's hit cooking competition series returns with a twist: pitting veteran contestants against rookies. For the first time in the show's history, eight accomplished chefs who have competed in previous seasons - and lost - will be brought back for a shot at redemption and tested like never before, as they go up against eight ambitious rookies.

John Legend, who this past weekend earned coveted EGOT status after winning an Emmy Award as a producer for "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert," will serve as a coach on the upcoming spring cycle of NBC's four-time Emmy-winning musical competition series "The Voice." Legend will be joined by returning music superstar coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, and host Carson Daly.

The Buffalo Sabres announced the team's Road Crew will make its first tour stop of the 2018-19 season on Monday, Oct. 15, in Las Vegas prior to the team's game against the Golden Knights on Oct. 16. This tour stop will take place at Beerhaus (3784 South Las Vegas Blvd.) from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $15 each, with all proceeds benefiting the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.

While remaining committed to celebrating a wide spectrum of movies, the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences announced Thursday it will not present the new Oscars category at the upcoming 91st awards in 2019. The Academy recognized that implementing any new award nine months into the year creates challenges for films that have already been released. The board of governors continues to be actively engaged in discussions, and will examine and seek additional input regarding this category.
