NBC Sports kicks off its 28th season of Notre Dame Football on NBC this weekend with a clash of two of the most storied programs in college football history, as the No. 12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the No. 14 Michigan Wolverines at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, on Saturday, Sept. 1 (7:30 p.m. ET), on NBC. Coverage begins with "Countdown to Kickoff" at 7 p.m. on NBCSN.

The Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday announced the team will open its main training camp on Thursday, Sept. 13, when veteran players are scheduled to report for testing and physicals. Beginning Friday, Sept. 14, the team's practice sessions at Harborcenter will be open to the public, with practices broken down into multiple sessions throughout each day.
