On Friday, Aug. 21, Dance Like a Star with Serge hosted the Niagara County Peach Queen Pageant contestants at the studio for a luau party. The contestants learned the cha-cha, rhumba and a few other steps. They danced with partners and were treated to performances by the professional dance staff.

Le Xuan Son, also from Vietnam, was interested in understanding American culture and ideologies. Several thousand weathered the storm Aug. 4 as the "Wheels of Soul" tour rolled into Artpark for a "Tuesday in the Park" performance. They were rewarded with more than three hours of foot-stomping, hand-clapping, head-throwing soul and rock anthems courtesy of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Doyle Bramhall II and headline act Tedeschi Trucks Band.
