Monday's national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $2.86, down 4 cents from last week. One year ago, the price was $2.87. The New York state average is $2.96, down 1 cent from last week. A year ago, the state average was $3.00.

The forums also gave attendees the chance to ask the candidates questions they may have regarding the college.
