As you may know, I am fairly new to our school and the Grand Island community. I am still learning all of the details of our systems and procedures while trying my hardest to learn everyone's name as quickly as possible. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and patient.

"Jazz & Pasta," The Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival's worthy warm-up act, will take place from 1 until 6 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at Water Street Landing, 115 S. Water St. The annual fundraising event offers food and music from some of the top local chefs and musicians, as well as a basket auction and 50/50 split draw.
