The Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will hold an awareness presentation about Alzheimer's disease and dementia for families caring for someone with Down syndrome. The program will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the WNY Chapter offices located at 6400 Sheridan Drive, Suite 320, in Amherst.
