Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island
The Grand Island Neighbors Foundation is deeply grateful to the Service and Mercy Alliance (SAMA), a local Muslim faith organization, for its generous donation of nonperishable food to support our food pantry and the Grand Island residents we serve.
We sincerely appreciate SAMA’s continued support of the Neighbors Foundation and our mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.” Donations such as this help us provide confidential food assistance to local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
We are also grateful for the warm invitation and generous hospitality extended to members of the Neighbors Foundation who joined SAMA for its summer picnic on Saturday, Aug. 1. We greatly enjoyed the opportunity to share fellowship, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the spirit of service that brings our community together.
As an all-volunteer organization, the Neighbors Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, faith communities, and local organizations such as SAMA to fulfill our mission. Its compassion and commitment demonstrate the very best of Grand Island: Neighbors from different backgrounds working together to care for those in need.
