The Town of Niagara has enhanced its identity within Niagara County through the completion of a new welcome mural at 2590 Military Road, visible from the New York State Thruway.
Designed and painted by Ali Price of Ali Way Designs, the 266-foot mural features the town’s logo, the 914th Air Refueling Wing and 107th Attack Wing insignias, the Niagara County logo, Niagara River Greenway, American and Canadian flags representing our border and welcoming our friends to the north, and a cannon symbolizing Military Road.

We extend our gratitude to the Niagara River Greenway Commission, especially Lisa Vitello, for guidance during the funding application process; the Niagara Power Coalition/Host Community Standing Committee for project funding; Extra Space Storage, Sonny Granger, Granger Development, and Dusti deMahy for property use and full cooperation; Kristen Savard of Advanced Design Group for conceptual development; the Town of Niagara Highway Department and NYSDOT for site preparation; and NYPA for tree replanting.
We also thank Assemblyman Angelo Morinello, Sen. Robert Ortt, Niagara County legislators Christopher Robins and Christopher McKimmie, town councilmen Marc Carpenter, Johnny Parks and Mike Lee for their ongoing support, and Jackie Siegmann for assistance with funding. Special thanks to Councilman Marc Carpenter, Joel Milleville, and Earl Reynolds for photography and drone video.
This collaborative project, planned and executed over more than a year, reflects our commitment to welcoming visitors, businesses, shoppers and residents for years to come.
