Press release
Montana International LLC, concessionaire for Grand Island State Park facilities, announced the Beaver Island State Park Golf Course will continue its tradition of offering free rounds of golf to active-duty service members and veterans. The program – now in its third year – has provided nearly $100,000 in complimentary golf to military players over the past two years.
“Serving those who serve our country is a small way to show our appreciation for the sacrifices they make so we can sleep in peace,” said Montana, operator of Beaver Island Golf Course. “We’re proud to welcome military guests to enjoy the course.”
The course is scheduled to open for the 2026 season on April 23, weather-permitting. The free program applies to active-duty service members and military veterans, Monday through Thursday only, and after 11 a.m., subject to course availability. In addition, military personnel enjoy the discounted junior/senior rate before 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday. It is highly recommend that players reserve a tee time by visiting https://www.montanainternational.us/beaver-island-golf-course, or by phone at 716-800-3954, once the course opens.
