University at Buffalo Center for the Arts press release

The University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (UBCFA) announces “Steve Hackett – Best of Genesis & Solo Gems Tour,” coming to the Mainstage Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 28.

After 13 years, Hackett is bringing his classic Genesis material back to North American stages with a brand-new show celebrating the very best of Genesis alongside highlights from his extensive solo career.

For 2027, Hackett brings audiences the very best Genesis songs from throughout his career, including some of the band’s biggest fan favorites, alongside a selection of classic material from his many solo albums.

“The Center has a long history of welcoming some of the world's great guitarists to our Mainstage and we're excited to continue that tradition with Steve Hackett,” said Jamie Enser, executive director of the UBCFA. “His connection to the music of Genesis, combined with his solo career, makes this a special show to experience with our audience.”

Joining Hackett are longstanding bandmates Lalle Larsson on keyboards; Nad Sylvan on vocals; Jonas Reingold on bass, guitar and backing vocals; Rob Townsend on saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards and backing vocals; and Felix Lehrmann on drums.

“I’ll be bringing this thrilling new show out in 2027 to celebrate the very best of Genesis including the biggest fan favorites, as well as solo classics,” Hackett said.

A special priority offer runs Wednesday, Oct. 14, through Thursday, Oct. 15. Fans can use code “UBHACKETT” for early online access to tickets at ubcfa.org.
