Janice (Juzwicki) Wolfgang, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on July 30, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls on Feb. 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Joy (Filler) Juzwicki. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Janice embarked on a diverse career, leaving her mark at the Jetport Restaurant, and the Buffalo News, and finally retiring from Marshes General Store. Her professional journey was a testament to her hard work and commitment, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.

On May 10, 1980, she married John Wolfgang. Their love story began in 1972, blossoming into a marriage that spanned over four decades. Together, they nurtured a warm and welcoming home, creating a life filled with joy and shared adventures.

Janice is survived by her loving husband John and their daughter Sara (Kevin) Allgaier; and by granddaughter, Elvira Allgaier. She also is survived by her sisters Patricia Juzwicki, Wendy Juzwicki and Nancy (Christopher) Gilmer; her brother, Stephen (Julie) Juzwicki; by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a great-great nephew.

Janice's heart was always open to the beauty of the outdoors. She found immense joy in camping and spending time with her family and friends beneath the stars. Her garden was her sanctuary, a place where she could nurture life and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature. Her home was a haven for animals where her love extended to her cherished cats, dogs, horses, goats and chickens. Her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aroma of her home-cooked meals. A reflection of her love for cooking and culinary talents was just one of the many ways she expressed her love for those dear to her.

Janice is predeceased by her sisters, Stephanie and Judith; and by her brother, Robert.

In keeping with Janice's wishes, a private ceremony was held in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Janice can be made to the Niagara Falls Firefighters Christmas Toy Fund, reflecting her generous spirit and dedication to bringing joy to others.
