Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is proud to support a new space for children and families in the Niagara community as The Village at Kenan opens its doors.
Memorial is sponsoring the baby nursery within The Village, an interactive play area at the Kenan Center in Lockport, where children can care for baby dolls through imaginative play. The Village also features a grocery area, food truck and play farm.
The nursery was a natural fit for Memorial, with the hospital’s role in caring for families across Niagara County.
“We chose to sponsor the nursery because we are the only location in Niagara County that can deliver your baby,” said AmyLynn Bryniarski, vice president of service line operations at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

The partnership reflects Memorial’s commitment to making healthcare accessible to families throughout the region.
“We want to make access easy for everyone. We serve from birth to whatever age,” Bryniarski said. “And who knows – after playing in the nursery, the kids may grow up to work in our labor and delivery department one day!”
The Village at Kenan is designed to be accessible to families, with programming offered at no cost.
“Everything we do here is totally free,” said Ashley Greene, founding director of The Village at Kenan. “Anyone can come to The Village. There are no income limits, restrictions, restraints. Could be a grandparent, father, foster parent.”
The Village held a sneak peek for families over Labor Day weekend. It will officially open its doors in mid- to late-September. Hours can be found on The Village at Kenan Facebook page.
