Lane closures on I-290 in Town of Tonawanda
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that Interstate 290 (Youngmann Memorial Highway) eastbound in the Town of Tonawanda, between Colvin Boulevard and Niagara Falls Boulevard (Route 62) will be reduced from three lanes to one lane from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, to facilitate bridge repairs.
South Transit Road Lane closures in Town of Lockport
NYSDOT is advising motorists that South Transit Road (Route 78) will have single lane closures in both directions between Bartz and Rapids roads in the Town of Lockport, from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, and Friday, Sept. 25, to facilitate milling and paving.
Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.
Construction activities are weather-dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
