Empower honored the Niagara Region of New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation at its annual awards dinner held at Antonio's Restaurant on Oct. 8.
State Parks received the Empower Job Placement 2026 Employer of the Year award. It works closely with Empower's job placement department to provide a successful work readiness program for local high school students through the “Steps to Work” program.
