Buffalo Wind Symphony offers free admission for veterans at 'Together We Rise' concert

The Buffalo Wind Symphony will pay tribute to this nation’s heroes with “Together We Rise,” a powerful concert honoring veterans, active service members, and the spirit of unity that defines the community. The performance will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Williamsville North High School Auditorium.

In honor of Veterans Day, admission is free for all veterans and active-duty military personnel. As always, students may also attend free of charge. General admission tickets for the public are $20 and available at buffalowinds.org/tickets.

The program will feature a collection of stirring and uplifting works, highlighted by the moving “Armed Forces Salute,” where members of each military branch are invited to stand and be recognized as their service anthem is performed – a time-honored tradition that never fails to fill the hall with emotion and gratitude.

"Our veterans have given so much to protect what we hold dear, and through this music we hope to honor them, inspire our audience, and bring our community closer together."

With more than 80 musicians from across Western New York, the Buffalo Wind Symphony will perform a program that blends patriotic classics with inspiring contemporary pieces, creating a night of reflection, pride and joy. This special event promises to be an uplifting evening for all ages – an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate veterans, and say “thank you” to those who have served.
