Niagara Wine Trail Press Release

The Niagara Wine Trail has increased its membership to 12 wineries.

Niagara Landing has rejoined the trail. Originally opening on Mother’s Day in 1998, they helped establish the trail in 2002.The name honor’s the family’s private runway, still in use today. Visitors often spot planes soaring overhead.

They are open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., and offer over 30 unique wines, with sweet varieties among the most popular. Groups are welcome with advance reservations, and the site is proud to be dog-friendly!

Another unique service Niagara Landing offers is an ability to screen print wine bottles.

All 12 members of the trail will be participating in the “Holiday Happening” event. With the purchase of ticket, visitors receive a wine glass at their first winery and an ornament at each winery they visit. It will be Dec. 6-7, from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

Ornaments are in limited supply, so presale tickets are encouraged. Single tickets are $50, couples are $75, and designated driver tickets are $25. They can be purchased at www.NiagaraWineTrail.org. Complete information about the event is listed there, as well.
