Calling all aspiring theater and musical theatre students: Shea’s Performing Arts Center is proud to host WNY Unified College Auditions at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. The event, organized by Shea’s arts engagement and education department, offers high school and college transfer students the opportunity to audition for several local colleges and universities, with theater and musical theater programs, at one time and location.
Participating schools include Alfred University, Buffalo State University, Niagara University, SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Niagara and the University at Buffalo.
WNY Unified College Auditions give students the chance to audition before multiple faculty and institution representatives, saving time and effort while opening doors to numerous educational opportunities. Workshops in acting, singing, design-tech and dance will be held the week prior to help prepare registrants for the auditions. The audition day includes a college fair open to students and parents.
Whether your passion is acting, musical theater, or design and production, this audition is your one-stop step toward pursuing a future in the performing arts.
WNY Unified College Auditions take place at Shea’s Performing Arts Center Rehearsal Halls at 654 Main St., Buffalo. Registration is required, and there is a $25 fee for students to audition.
