“We have previously held this event benefiting charities including Autism Speaks, Epilepsy Foundation, Roswell Park and Lockport New Beginnings,” organizers said. “This year’s event, all proceeds are going to Second Chance Boxer Rescue. Second Chance Boxer Rescue Inc. is an independent, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization that places dogs in loving homes that may enter rescue as an owner surrender, a stray, through a shelter, and/or because of abuse or neglect situations.” It helps provide a safe harbor for dogs that might otherwise be destroyed, and places them in loving homes.
