NFL Films is celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Inside the NFL”; and its second season on X as an X Original, premiering Wednesday, Sept. 9. “Inside the NFL” will deliver fans premium football content every day throughout the season with hundreds of short form clips, mic’d up moments and game edits exclusively on X.

For 50 seasons, “Inside the NFL” has been the definitive source for weekly NFL Films highlights, showcasing previously unseen angles of pivotal game action and behind-the-scenes audio.

“ ‘Inside the NFL’ has been a defining part of NFL Films’ legacy for 50 years,” said Keith Cossrow, NFL Films vice president and head of content. “As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to bring the series back to X for a second season and deliver its iconic storytelling, unparalleled access and distinctive style to fans around the world.”

Mitchell Smith, global head of content partnerships, X, said, “After an incredible first season, we’re thrilled to bring ‘Inside the NFL’ back to X and continue reimagining one of the most iconic franchises in sports television. As the series celebrates 50 years of bringing fans closer to the game, X is the place to give that legacy a new life – delivering premium, access-driven storytelling directly to the fans who are already talking about the NFL in real time.”

The second season of “Inside the NFL” will also be featured on the newly launched NFL Gametime on X, a new fan experience that brings real-time scores and stats, official team content, news, creators, and the ongoing NFL conversation together in one destination integrated throughout the platform.

“ ‘Inside the NFL’ is built around the moments, personalities and access that fans can’t get anywhere else,” Smith added. “By bringing that content to X quickly and putting it directly into the center of the NFL conversation, we’re giving fans a new way to experience a legendary franchise while creating even more opportunities to watch, react and engage together.”
