Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino press release & photo
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino will present an evening of legendary, era-defining music when it welcomes “The History of R&B Starring Dru Hill” to the Seneca Niagara Event Center on Saturday, March 6, 2027 (8 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2.
“The History of R&B Starring Dru Hill” takes audiences on a powerful sonic and multimedia journey through the evolution of rhythm & blues, from its earliest roots to the sounds that continue to influence American culture today. The show begins with the pioneers who laid the foundation for soul music before moving through the Motown era and into the powerful sounds of 1970s soul, where music became a vehicle for self-expression, social commentary, and everyday life. The show combines legendary music with dynamic visual storytelling, including era-defining fashion, film, television, historic events and nostalgic details, to help bring each period vividly to life. As audiences travel through the decades, they experience a fast-moving visual timeline highlighting significant political, social, economic and cultural moments occurring alongside the music that defined each generation.
This is an all-ages show – guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
