Notice to interested voters in Niagara County from the election commissioners:
Voter registration deadline
The last day to register to vote for the Nov. 4 general election is Oct. 25.
The Board of Elections will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, for the purpose of registering those persons not already registered. Normal office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Voter registration forms are available on the Board of Elections website (www.elections.niagara.ny.us); or in person at all post offices, most banks, public libraries, town and city halls, and at the Board of Elections at 111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport.
Anyone who has moved since voting last must reregister to be eligible.
If you are going to be out of the county on Election Day, you may apply for an absentee ballot by calling 716-438-4042 or 716-438-4049.
Early voting
The following sites are open to all voters on the dates listed below. On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned poll site (call 716-438-4040 or 716-438-4041 if you are unsure of the location).
Niagara County early voting poll sites:

825 Depot Ave. W., Niagara Falls
•Cornell Cooperative Extension (Niagara County Fairgrounds)
4487 Lake Ave., Lockport
•Wheatfield Community Center
2790 Church Road, North Tonawanda
•Newfane Community Center
2737 Main St., Newfane
•Wendelville Fire Co.
7340 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda
All sites are accessible to voters with physical disabilities.
Early voting dates and times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25; Sunday, Oct. 26; Wednesday, Oct. 29; Thursday, Oct. 30; Friday, Oct. 31; Saturday, Nov. 1; and Sunday, Nov. 2; and noon to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, and Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Absentee balloting
The Niagara County Board of Elections will be open extended hours for absentee balloting from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, and Tuesday, Oct. 28; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 1.
