Song is debut single from his first live album as solo artist
Press release
Multi-Platinum songwriter and worship leader Mack Brock released “Praise Upon Praise (Live at The River)” at digital and streaming outlets worldwide through Centricity Music. Available from https://mackbrockmusic.lnk.to/praiseuponpraise, the song introduces Brock’s first live album as a solo artist, an as-yet-untitled project scheduled for release in 2027.
Brock recorded “Praise Upon Praise” live during a July 21 worship gathering at The River in Toronto. Co-written with Chris Davenport, Jesse Reeves and David Leonard, the anthemic song beautifully embodies an overall theme of exaltation and rises into an instantly memorable chorus. For Brock, the song’s purpose is singular: to direct attention toward God.
“I didn’t want this song to be about me or about, ‘Here’s what I need from you, Lord,’ or, ‘Here’s what I’m believing for, Lord.’ I just really wanted it to be, ‘You’re worthy of praise,’ ” Brock shared. “And that’s the heart of the song.”
“Praise Upon Praise (Live at The River)” chorus: “Praise upon praise // All the glory to You // Praise upon praise // With every Hallelujah // To the King of all kings // With the angels we sing // Praise upon praise upon praise upon praise.

“Praise Upon Praise” follows Brock’s “Beloved” EP (2025) and full-length studio album “This Is Holy” that features the hit radio single “Time and Time Again.” The album is a sacred collection of original anthems intended to remind listeners, and Brock’s own heart, that there’s an all-knowing God who is completely sovereign, trustworthy and deserving of all praise.
