Lewiston Christmas Walk and Lights Parade weekend kicked off Friday with the annual tree-lighting ceremony inside the Alphonso I. DiMino Memorial Band Shell at Academy Park. Performers included students from Janet Dunstan Dance Academy and Lewiston Dance Center, and singers from Matt's Music, St. Peter's R.C. School and Stella Niagara. Special guests included Buddy the Elf and Jovie.
This event was presented by the Lewiston Council on the Arts and the Lewiston Beautification Committee. It was hosted by LCA Executive Director Maria Fortuna Dean.
