National Grid will begin installing new smart meters to its more than 121,000 Buffalo-area customers, providing homeowners and business owners new ways to monitor their energy use and spending. Niagara Gospel Mission volunteers had a busy night before Thanksgiving - and even busier Thanksgiving day - preparing and handing out over 2,200 prepackaged Thanksgiving meals to people in the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Niagara, and the City of North Tonawanda. Around 300 volunteers showed up and were assigned different roles for the "Feed the Falls" event.
