Niagara Frontier Antique and Classic Boats press release
Niagara Frontier Antique and Classic Boats is excited to announce that its 47th annual Antique & Classic Boat Show will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at a new location, the Sandy Beach Yacht Club at 1851 Winter Ave, Grand Island. The show begins at 9:45 a.m. with the raising of the colors of the U.S. and Canada, together with a recognition of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. The show concludes at 4 p.m.
This year’s feature boat is Lady Cameron II, built in Canada by the Duke Company in 1962. The “Lady” was donated to us in 2024 and, over the last two years, was restored by our members and is now ready to be shown to all.
Boats will be displayed in water, with a hands-on Kid’s Camp and a basket auction on the grounds of the Sandy Beach Yacht Club. And at the adjoining Sandy Beach Park Club, boats will be displayed on land with working model boats running in the Niagara River, and food and beverages will be available.
This is a family-friendly event and we hope to see many of you at our new, intimate location.
