The 35th annual Niagara Cup Classic raised $40,253 to support Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s $56 million capital improvement campaign.

Tournament organizers Brian Oakley, Dr. Michael Cardamone and David DeMizio joined NFMMC Events and Donor Relations Coordinator Jamie Olander on Wednesday, Sept. 16, for a ceremonial check presentation recognizing the event’s success and the generosity of its sponsors, golfers and supporters.

The tournament was held Aug. 10 at Niagara Frontier Golf Club in Youngstown. Participants enjoyed a day of golf followed by an awards ceremony, all while supporting Memorial’s continued investment in healthcare facilities, technology and services for the Niagara community.

“The success of this year’s Niagara Cup Classic reflects the tremendous generosity of our sponsors, golfers and community partners,” said Joseph A. Ruffolo, president and CEO of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. “Their support will help us continue making important improvements that strengthen patient care and ensure our community has access to exceptional healthcare close to home.”

The golf tournament supports a series of capital improvements designed to enhance patient experience and position the medical center to meet the community’s evolving healthcare needs.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who participated in or supported the 35th annual Niagara Cup Classic.
